--> ANG KAAWAY NA NASA PINTUAN Isang kabataan sa simbahan ang nagimbal sap ag-uwi ng bahay niya – naroon ang ama at nagluluto sa kusina. Ilang taon ang nakalilipas, lumayas ang amang ito upang maki-apid sa ibang babae, sanhi ng paghihirap ng pamilya. Hinarap ng kabataan ang kanyang ina at humingi ng paliwanag kung bakit tinanggap nito muli ang ama. Malumanay na ipinaalala ng ina sa anak na kahit hindi siya aktibo sa simbahan, hindi niya maatim na ipagkait sa asawa ang pusong mapagpatawad at mahabagin. Napahiyang tumalikod ang kabataan at unti-unting napaluha. Nagkaroon ng malaking impluwensya ang Pagkabuhay ng Panginoon sa maraming tao, kahit sa hindi mga Kristiyano. Ang anino ng dakilang pangyayaring ito ay dumampi maging sa pinakamatigas na puso tulad ng kay Saulo, na dating punong tagapagtuligsa ng mga Kristiyano. Naging mahirap ito sa mga mananampalataya, sabi nga sa Gawa 9, na takot sila kay Saulo at hindi segurado sa napabalitang pagbabalik

  ANG BATO Palabiro ang tadhana. Isang batang lalaki ang nag-apply pero hindi tinanggap sa isang exclusive high school para sa mga lalaki. Malungkot man, nagpatuloy siya sa isang public school kung saan nagsumikap siyang lumago. Nang maging isang propesyunal na siya, naging director siya ng paaralang hindi tumanggap sa kanya maraming taon na ang nakalilipas. Isinasalarawan ni San Pedro ang Panginoong Hesus bilang bato, isang batong panulukan. Ang imaheng ito ay halaw sa Aklat ng mga Awit o Salmon na nagsasaad ng “batong tinanggihan ng mga manggagawa na naging panulukang bato.” Noong unang panahon, ang mga manggagawa ng isang gusali ay naghahanap muna ng de-kalidad na batong gagamitin sa konstraksyon. Ang pinakamahalaga dito ay ang panulukang bato – ang una inilalagay sa pundasyon at huling inilalagay para sa pagtatapos ng gusaling ginagawa. Kapag natagpuan ito, nagagalak sila. Hindi ba ipinahayag ni Pedro na si Hesus ang Anak ng Diyos at Mesiyas? Hindi ba sinabi ni Santiago at Juan na handa silang inumin ang kalis na iinumin din ng Panginoon? Subalit ang totoo, ang pananampalataya ng mga alagad kay Hesus ay mahina, pabago-bago at kulang. Si Pedro ay nagtatuwa sa Panginoon mas maraming beses kaysa ginawa ni Hudas. Sina Santiago at Juan naman ay nag-akalang uupo sila sa kanan at kaliwa ni Hesus sa Kaharian. Ang ibang mga alagad naman ay nakibahagi sa pagkamangha, pagkalito at pagkasiphayo sa mga kaganapan sa buhay ni Hesus ng Nasaret. Nagbago ang lahat pagkatapos ng Pagkabuhay. --> TRULY THE FATHER’S SON Who was Jesus for his disciples? We might be tempted to think that from the start, the disciples knew clearly who their Master was. In fact, did not Peter declare Jesus the Son of God and the Messiah who is to come? Did not James and John announce their willingness to drink from the same cup the Lord was destined to drink? The truth is, however, that the disciples faith in Jesus was unstable, vacillating, and weak. Peter became a denier of Jesus, more times than Judas did. James and John thought the kingdom was an earthly one where they could reign with Jesus by sitting one on his right and the other on his left. The other disciples shared in the wonderment, the confusion, and the frustration at the twists and turns of the life of Jesus of Nazareth. Easter changed everything. As witnesses to the Resurrection, the disciples confirmed their faith in the Lord. From what they have seen and from what the Holy Spirit

--> HABAG NA NAGPAPALAYA Bumili ng pagkain para sa pamilya ang isang lalaki. Nang pauwi na, binaril siya ng tatlong lalaki, ninakawan at iniwang naghihingalo. Sa korte bago ang paglilitis,niyakap ng ina ng lalaking pinatay ang pinakabata sa mga bumaril sa anak niya. Niyakap din niya ang ina nito. Sinabi ng babae sa pumatay sa anak niya: Hindi ako galit sa iyo. Hindi ito ang paraan. Awa at patawad… iyan ang aking paraan.” Isipin natin ang naganap sa Pagkabuhay ni Hesus. Kapagdaka matapos siyang mabuhay muli, itinulak ng Panginoon ang batong takip sa pintuan ng libingan. Mula doon, iniwan ni Hesus ang lamig, kadiliman, at pagkatuyot ng kamatayan upang salubungin ang bagong liwanag at buhay na ibabahagi niya ngayon sa mga alagad. Kabaligtaran naman ang kilos ng mga alagad na nagkulong sa isang lugar, nagtipon dahil sa takot, ayon sa ebanghelyo (Jn 20:19), sa mga Hudyo. Kahit na Hudyo rin sila mismo! Takot ba ang mga alagad sa kanilang mga sarili?

--> MERCY THAT LIBERATES A man went outside to buy food for his wife and kids. On the way home, three men shot him, took his wallet, and left him for dead. In the courtroom where the culprits were about to be tried, the mother of the murdered man embraced the youngest of the accused and proceeded to hug his mother too. Then she said: “I do not hate you. It’s not our way. Showing mercy…that’s our way.” Imagine what happened at the Resurrection. As Jesus rose, he pushed open the stone blockade at the entrance of the tomb. Setting out from there, Jesus left behind the coldness, the darkness, and the dryness of death to welcome the new light and life he is now to share with his waiting disciples. But on the contrary, the disciples locked themselves in an isolated place, huddled in fear of the Jews, as the Gospel says (Jn 20:19). To think that they too were Jews!
